My objective for this book was to present known facts and historical interpretations of concepts and topics that relate to the brain, mind, soul, and spirit that are often questioned and/or debated from the perspectives of both, science and Biblical scripture. I believe that as our scientific knowledge continues to increase, it is important that we use this new knowledge to revisit historical interpretations of some Biblical scriptures as we seek greater understandings of our selves, our neigh- bors, and of the world around us. Science provides us with a mechanism for studying our world, God’s creation, and by studying his creation we gain greater insights into his omnipotence. Through greater knowledge of God, stronger relationship bonds can be formed with him, which al- lows a deeper love to manifest for both God and for all of his creation.
